NO WORK TODAY - JUST PLAY ! ! !
Sunsations members enjoyed a sunny day filled with fun and friends in celbration of Labor Day. About 35 people enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, smoked brats and many deserts. Thanks to everyone for bringing all the great food! We also celebrated the birthdays of three members, a home made chocolate cake (minus the 170 candles) was enjoyed by all to celebrate the day. Several new members attended and some new friends joined us for the day in the sun. We are all looking forward to the next party which will be a "road trip" hosted by a Suncoast Naturist member - Get Ready for Oktoberfest! See you there.

A perfect day - sunny skies, the pool temp was ideal and the hot tub was bubbling over with Sunsations members and their guests. Nearly 40 fun loving members and their friends (soon to be new members of Sunsations) enjoyed visiting and eating and drinking the day away. Bill and Lidi cooked up some awesome roast pork and BBQ chicken - Davey made the "famous "Nude Beach Bread" and everyone brought home made dishes to share with friends --- the food was the best ever. Thanks to everyone for the time spent preparing all the wonderful dishes. The day was all about eating, relaxing and socializing while floating around the pool. A late afternoon shower provided a much needed temperature adjustment and the party continued - it seemed we all wanted the day to stretch on as long as possible. Many thanks to everyone for the great food and fun time - and welcome to our new friends and members.
Don't forget - the next party is on SUNDAY, September 2nd - at Bill and Lidi's - 11:00 till 6:00.

Well, we had about Forty Fun Folks Frolicking on Saturday for our Independence Day Celebration. The weather cooperated, no rain but boy was it HOT! Everyone agreed that the pool heater definitely did not need to be on and no one entered the hot tub - go figure :).
Davey did a fantabulous job cooking up all the burgers and dogs and everyone did a super job gobbling them all up! Thank you to everyone for bringing yummy side dishes and deserts. We had a quickie poolside meeting. Judy gave us an update on the Youth Ambassador Program and the Youth Camps, Barb gave us a summary of the FANR Convention meeting and Davey gathered input for products.

We've have had a ton of parties in between 2007 and the last event updated back in 2005 - at least one party every month - plus a Road Trip to Paradise, Caliente, the Cove and all sorts of activities.

What a beautiful November Day for the Sunsations Thanksgiving Bash. A relaxing day by the pool at Don and Bonnie's and a tremendous feast followed by Karaoke fun made for a wonderful get together and the perfect opportunity for the "Suns" to reflect on how fortunate we are to live where we can party with our nudist friends on a regular basis and generally reflect on all that we have to be thankful for!!! And speaking of gratitude...

A way fun weird, wild and whacky time was had yesterday at the Pimps and Ho's Party. Folks were indeed creative with their costuming. In fact, some were beyond creative! Congrats to all of our winners and thanks to all who participated. Sooo much wonderful food we could not eat it all! Thank you everyone for keeping up our reputation as "foodist nudists"!
We did have a poolside meeting where it was unanimously voted that Sunsations will host the Fall FANR Board Meeting in October 2006.
So, we have lots of time to plan and make that a grand event for Sunsations.

John's Birthday Celebration at Edun Lake was a hoot! Lots and lots of folks attended. The food was great and the party atmosphere prevailed. John received lots of funny gag gifts and looked something like a side show star by the time he adorned himself with all of the really cute items. I understand the party went on into the night and next morning - you'll have to check with those who stayed for a report on the goings on after dark!

Recap........AANR Convention at Caliente......
Approximately 20 fun-loving Sunsational folks turned out to represent Sunsations at the convention. Despite the afternoon rains a super great time was had by all. The three club "Survivor themed" poolside reception was very well received with much praise to all three participating clubs for the hospitality and abundance of great food and drink. Rumor has it that two Sunsational ladies are now sporting some new piercings and body jewelry. Come to the next party to discover who! Edun Lake swept the games competitions winning absolutely everything hands down. Sooo, from now on every Sunsations party until August of 2006 will be spent practicing and honing our skills. Just kidding!!! But seriously, congrats to all of our super great buds at Edun Lake and we look forward to all of the great times between now and next year partying together until we get the opportunity.

Thanks, Bob and Tina for a super duper Luau Party this past Saturday. The weather was perfect and at last head count we had 55 Sunsational folks in attendance. The games were a hoot - limbo, hula hoop and the hot coconut game. Congrats to all of the winners. And there were lots of great door prizes and Judy won the 50/50. Our DJ did a great job. The food was really superb, thanks to all of those who brought dishes and to those who went out of their way to bring specially created recipes for the occasion. Over the Fourth of July (2005) weekend,
Wayne, Rowan, Lidia, Billy and Davey went to Cypress Cove to help Judy and Glyn break down and pack up the JFANR camp. Thanks to all of you for lending a hand and representing Sunsations in a very positive way. An even bigger thank you goes out to Judy and Glyn who literally worked their tails off making a fun filled educational camp experience for the nude youth participants. For those of you who are not familiar with the JFANR camp, it is a wonderful program for nudist kids from age 10 to 18. And what could be more important than educating our nudist children and preparing them to be our leaders of tomorrow?! Judy is the FANR youth chairperson and each year puts together the program for the kids. It is a HUGE amount of work and she devotes countless hours to the project.

Well, the Sunsations collective energy must have been just right on Saturday, because the tropical storm moved out, blue skies were prevalent and Sunsations partied down in style at Jimmy and Jaime's home. The pool felt wonderfully refreshing and was the perfect respite from the super sunny day. Our hosts provided scrumptious burgers and thanks to all who brought delicious side dishes and deserts.
The Sunsations "buffs" arrived and were a big hit. Thanks to our models Tracey, Rob and Tina for demonstrating creative fun ways to wear them. Sunsations members who will attend the FANR convention next weekend and also the AANR convention in August will wear the "buffs" to show our club spirit; but they are available to all members for a modest price. Some excellent fund raising was done at the party with membership renewals, a raffle for AANR merchandise and product sales. This will enable us to comfortably sponsor a youth for JFANR camp and host the upcoming FANR and AANR receptions. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed.
A business meeting was also held and Tina has volunteered to handle membership for the club. Yahoo! Look for regular membership updates and look out for Tina if you are delinquent. A vote was taken to add Tina as a Certifying Officer enabling her to transmit data and communicate directly with AANR and FANR on membership issues. And on a grander scale Tina has decided to accept the nomination to run for FANR Director. Whew, you go girl! Good luck! We're all backing you!
Soooo, a big day for Sunsations yesterday, thanks so much to our hosts Jimmy, Jaime, Bill and Lidia and we look forward to seeing all of you at the FANR convention next weekend at Caliente. Remember we are officially meeting at Caliente on Saturday at the Grotto Bar at 3:30 just prior to the awards ceremony where we will "presumably" once again receive our award for most attendees at the convention.

What a great day for a wedding!
The ceremony and festivities at Edun Lake were just splendid!
John in his top hat, bow tie and cummerbund and Vicky in her white mesh bridal attire were a stunning couple.
The guests and wedding party also looked great in their bow ties and garters. Several Sunsations members attended and lots of Edun Lakers. The weather was perfect, the food was beyond plentiful and folks had a great time dancing to tunes played by DJ Dan. Some traditional wedding fun was had as well. Congrats to John and Ann who caught the garter and bouquet. (Let us know when the big date is you two!!!) John and Vicky had some big icing fun after the cake cutting that resulted in a shower requiring soap!!! You can figure out the rest! All in all just a fantastic nudist wedding good time. Thanks so much to Lou and Mary for allowing this grand event to take place at Edun Lake and thank you to John and Vicky for including all of us on their very special day!!

Greetings!
Sunsations went back to nature Saturday in East Naples and spent the day lounging and visiting at George and Dottie's home. All was peaceful and serene until a surprise water balloon attack came from some sneaky conspiring naked people! There was some retaliation and things settled down once again. We held a business meeting and voted on a couple of topics and discussed the details of the upcoming conventions this summer. We enjoyed yummy food, as always and the company of our Sunsations buds. Thanks George and Dottie!

Another Sunsations Rockin' Good Time was had at the Red and White, Hearts and Lace Party!
So much fun stuff all at one party. Didn't think it could be done but Glyn and Judy pulled it off splendidly. The costume contest was great. Congrats to all of our winners and cheers to everyone who decked out in the spirit of the event. DJ Joe kept us all entertained and made his naturist debut. Sunsations just has that effect on people :). Yay, Joe! There was dancing to keep us all warm and we were treated once again to the lovely singing voice of our own talented Tina. Her hubby Bob took the mike as well and showed us that there is more talent in that duo than the law probably allows :). We played some kooky games, had a raffle and an auction and raised some funds for our upcoming receptions at the FANR and AANR conventions this summer. Everyone brought yummy food and we had hearts and lace cake for desert. All in all a splendid day!

The Thanksgiving Bash was truly Sunsational! Approximately 60 festive folks were in attendance to enjoy the camaraderie, pool time, hot tub, feasting, dancing, good time fun! The weather was perfect and the company was awesome. Products were purchased and more are being ordered thanks to our Product Managers, John and Vicky. Welcome to our new members and to all of our guests that attended and brought the delicious dishes to accompany the traditional turkey. Dave and Kimi of Riptide provided the awesome tunes and will be joining us once again at the upcoming Yuletide Celebration where we will once again enjoy the beautiful voice of the very talented Tina who will be our hostess along with her hubby Bob. Thanks go to Desmond for marking the occasion with photos, look for them soon on the website. What a glorious day for the Sunsations Hurricane Survival Party!
Beautiful weather, a great turn out and yummy ribs made for a perfect day!
Some of our snowbird members have returned and were heartily welcomed home, new members attended and even newer members were added! All in all a super get together. Our creative hosts even invented a new party game -- "Hurricane Survival Food Toss," what a hoot! I'd describe it but you really had to be there! Congrats, Betty on your good aim! Thanks go to our new party planners and products managers John and Vicky and congratulations on your recent engagement! And of course, many thanks to M and S for providing Sunsations with a place to party and for the scrumptious BBQ. Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Thanksgiving Bash at Rowan and Wayne's on November 20th, Yuletide Party at Bob & Tina's on December 18th and the annual New Year's Bash at M and S's.

Saturday's party at Taz's was fun in the sun as it always is with the Sunsations gang! Long time members, brand new members and some guests made for a great conversational mix. We had sunny skies all day and the pool was nice and cool. Don't know what it is about this gang but there always seems to be some playful water wars type shenanigans. We didn't even bring the pool toys; but do you think that would stop our big kids, oh no~! They improvised with squeaky toys and noodles for a mini squirt battle. Sheesh! Of course the food was super. John made some killer chili, Davey made his yummy nearly famous beach bread and Taz Q'd up some mean wienies. Thank you to everyone who brought dishes to share. The new products are a hit! We sold out of hats; but not to worry more are on the way! I'll be placing another order for the cute little "boy shorts" so if you would like a pair drop me a line. All in all it was just a way great day. Thank you so much Taz for opening up your home to Sunsations!

What a fantastic day at the Red, White and Blue Bash this past Saturday! As usual, Lidi and Billy provided the perfect party atmosphere! A great day in the sun with just enough sprinkles now and again to cool us all off a bit. The pool was the popular spot of the day - the perfect place to converse and get to know all of the guests from our neighboring clubs and lots of potential fun new members! Woo! Hoo! The very talented duo "Odyssey" played awesome dance tunes and we did dance! What fun! We broke out the twister boards and what a hoot! If you haven't yet played naked twister, well it is a must do. Don't know who had more fun the participants or the spectators :). Thank you to all who contributed with tasty dishes and to Dr. Dave for providing us with Spinnaker shade and most of all to Lidi and Billy for being the ultimate hosts!

What an awesome day today at George and Dottie's. In such a beautiful setting how could we not have a good time. Their beautifully manicured acreage is the perfect nudist getaway. How fortunate they are to have such a great naturist habitat and how lucky for Sunsations that we get to party there! It seems that the small crowds are the feisty ones 'cause "Water Wars" was ON once again!!! Only this time me thinks that Dave-bo did not necessarily dominate. The Ro, Ross, Gord-o team was definitely an adversary to be reckoned with. Though D. M. with his big gun was certainly a formidable opponent. What is it they say about the guys with the biggest guns? Oh well, whatever - yuck, yuck. Anyway it was an absolute hoot! In addition, folks took the hint and brought scrumptious dishes to compliment the wonderful shredded beef sandwiches that our hosts provided. Yummy yummy!

What a great time at Edun Lake today! Super weather, fun, friendly folks as always, and a great live duo playing! It was a dancin' partying celebration day in the sun! Lou and Mary added extra touches in honor of all the moms. Linen table cloths, real silverware, flowers and decorations made it a special event for sure! Some of us went down early on Saturday and camped out. It was great! A cook out, the beer pong game, stories around the campfire and good times with friends we haven't seen in a while were enjoyed by all! All in all a perfect weekend! Thank you Lou and Mary for inviting all of us and for sharing your beautiful place and for all of your hard work!

The North Captiva excursion was "awesome." Reports from those who attended concur that it was a perfect day. Great weather, beautiful place, lots of boats and approximately 80 nude beachgoers. Fantastic! Thank you so much Sanibel Naturists for hosting Sunsations for the day! And thank you to all of our boat captains who got everyone there and back safe and sound.

This past Saturday at Glyn and Judy's was lovely! It was the perfect weather and atmosphere for a relaxing social time. Not sure but we may have broken the record for most nude sunbathers in the zen garden :). Too chilly for the continuation of water wars so that has been postponed til the next warmer pool party. No Dave-bo we have not forgotten!

A small but feisty group celebrated Spring on Saturday at Rowan and Wayne's. If you were unable to attend or had to leave before the water fun battle began; Judy says we can play with toys again at their party coming up on April 3rd. Woo Hoo! We've nicknamed Davey "Rambo". He's a one man tactical fighting team. Go Davey! We'll be ready for you next time! And our screen enclosure doesn't look half bad with its new duct tape design. The only real casualty of the day :). We're gonna save the balloon launchers for Bill and Lidia's where we have more room! Live and learn!

Well, we did it!
We went to Brazil!
To say we had a great time is surely an understatement. The travel hours and flight to get there are postively grueling but that is soon forgotten upon arrival to Colina do Sol. This hilltop paradise in the sun was everything we had anticipated and more!
The views were spectacular, the people were awesome, the weather was perfect, the food and drinks were abundant and the night life was festive to say the least!
We were welcomed with open arms and treated like dignitaries.
Our accommodations were brand spankin' new and quite comfy.
We soaked up the sun and the beauty of nature and got to know the folks who live there.
We traveled to the surrounding areas and took in the sights.
We wore our silly costumes to the Carnaval Celebration and received accolades from the locals.
We were made to feel at home like part of the family.

Carnival Celebration IN Cape Coral!
Those of us unable to join the revelers in Brazil - enjoyed a great day in the sun at Lidi and Bill's in Cape Coral. The pool was warm and the deck filled with members who were eager to soak up some early spring rays! Costumes, fun, food and drink - a great day to enjoy friends.

Well, the chilly weather didn't hamper the fun at Edun Lake last Sunday as over a hundred folks turned out for the Quadruple Club Luau. We tasted many new and unusual dishes, met some new fun folks, enjoyed the live music and eventually warmed up to a great sunny day. It was great to party with the other clubs in our AANR/FANR regional family and how great to see special guest Carolyn Hawkins of AANR. Once again, thanks go out to Lou and Mary for their gracious hospitality. We are looking forward to another similar event this summer!

A great time was had by all who attended the Holiday Party on Saturday in Cape Coral. We visited, ate, drank and played some silly party games. What a kick to see a bunch of naked grown ups acting like crazy kids. The ornament making contest brought out some surprisingly artistic talents. A great time this past Saturday at the Thanksgiving Celebration!

The Wacky Tacky Tourist Party was way fun! Thank you to all of those who participated in the Wacky Tacky Costume Contest! You all made it tough on the judges 'cause you were all just so tacky! How fun! It is that sort of participation that makes our events so memorable!

Hello! Hello - August 31st 2003 was a great day at Edun Lake.
Thank you ever so much to our hosts Lou and Mary for putting on a great party. It was very festive with members from Sunsations, Sanibel Naturists and of course the Edun Lake gang. Last head count was 72 fun lovin’ naked folk :)
The weather was perfect! The food tables were packed with a huge variety of tasty fare. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Lou and Mary livened up the party with jello shots followed by champagne. How great is that!? There were lots of new people to meet and converse with and the pool at Edun Lake is just the spot for cool and comfy chit chat. This great place will definitely remain on our list of party destinations.

August 16th 2003 - Hello Everybody!
First - a big thank you to Lou and Mary at Edun Lake for allowing Sunsations to come down and enjoy a relaxing Poolside day this past Saturday. I'm sure all in attendance will agree that it was worth the trip! We even got to enjoy a couple good hours of sun before the summer afternoon clouds rolled in. And was it just me or did the eats seem super good this time?! Thanks to all who brought scrumptious dishes to share. If you missed joining us, not to worry cause we'll be going back some time soon.

JULY 5th 2003 - Well, we said we were going to have a Red, White and Blue Bash and did we ever!!! Wow! What a great day! To quote Davy it was an "epic" party! Sunsations and Sanibel Naturists partying down together! Last head count was 68 folks. Woo hoo! Thanks to Bill & Lidia and Rowan and Wayne for being the ultimate hosts and providing everyone with a fun filled day.
Highlights:
A great sunny day (at the beginning) the pool was packed. A fabulous spread, thank you everyone for the wonderful, yummy dishes. Really cool necklaces provided by D & T (Personalized even!) Thanks you two, what a great idea!) A great entertainer who kept us rockin' even through the rain. A full out naturist style dance in the rain (like Woodstock without the mud). Don't even think a little rain will stop us from havin' fun! Some pretty darn good horseshoe competition and some great hula hoopin’ by M’lyn. Massages by G **. And let us not forget the Karoke! Holy Moly what a day! You can't pack much more than that into one event; but we can always try! Thanks to D, the official club photographer, for taking pics to go up on our new website and for the new photo album,

June 2003 - a very busy month for Sunsations and Nudists in general - the FANR Convention was held at Lake Como mid June. We were honored to have one of our members representing us at Nude U – Tabatha Tremblay joined Judy Grisham as Judy hosted JFANR Camp in Lutz for 10 days of training/learning and having fun. At the FANR Convention each year, an award is presented to the nudist club with the most members in attendance. This June, twenty-one Sunsations members were present - and for the third time - Sunsations was awarded the trophy for the most members in attendance. In addition - The Florida Association for Nude Recreation "Family of the Year Award" was presented to Sunsations members, Glyn and Judy Grisham - it as a proud day for all of us - Congratulations to Judy and Glyn and Sunsations all Sunsations members for representing Nude Recreation in such a positive way - thanks to everyone for joining us at Lake Como.

On June 21 - Rowan and Wayne hosted another creative themed party - "Tattoo U" - a Think Ink Day! Washable markers, pens, and lots of stick on tatttoos were available. D & T shared their special collection of stick on's and the possibilities were endless. With so much "canvas" to work with - members got busy creating some outstanding works of art - prizes were awarded for Most Creative, Best Overall Coverage, Ugliest, Prettiest! Special out-of-town guests joined in on the fun. A guest speaker from ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) made a presentation on auto and motorcycle safety - Be Careful Everybody! After the presentation, Davey made his famous fried turkey! There was so much great food and good company - truly a perfect day in the Sun -even the afternoon shower didn't dampen the party atmosphere! Attendance was outstanding, and there were quite a few new visitors enjoying their first visit with Sunsations. Welcome to all of you! Thanks to all of you for making SUNSATIONS PARTIES THE BEST!

Memorial Day Weekend (2003) - A few of us went to Edun Lake to spend the Day - Weather looked foreboding at first but turned out beautiful! Lou and Mary were gracious hosts and have put together a great place for nudists to share. We'll be planning a Sunsations excursion there in August.
May 18 - - BBQ Ribs and all the trimmings - M & S cooked up a ton of those delicios ribs and members brought the perfet side dishes - The pond and gazeebo were a favorite meeting place - the pool was a perfect cooling off spot and the hot tub was filled to capacity too. Who could ask for more? New members were welcomed in the warm and friendly Sunsations style - Thank you!
May 3 – put us in the spirit of the race track – put on your fancy duds and hats and get ready for a day at the races.– the Kentucky Derby Party held in Golden Gate at the home of G & D - Wayne made mint juleps for everyone – what an enjoyable way to spend the day - at a beautiful home located in such a picturesque spot. It was a great party and hopefully your horse won! A prospective new member attended this party and was a big help with the wagering – we hope he will soon become a member of Sunsations - thanks again, R, for joining in on the fun.

Each month - another party at another location – gracious members open up their homes so that we can enjoy our Nudist lifestyle. March and April were no exceptions - a great party at D and D’s home in Cape Coral - lots of wonderful food and rumor has it that the hot tub record was broken (again).
February 2003 - Valentines day was spent at the South Ft Myers home of Rowan & Wayne, their themed parties are always eagerly anticipated and so much fun. This one was outstanding. Some of the most hilarious games ever were played – how do they think of them?. Everybody brought delicious food – Dave made his ever popular Beach Bread – and didn’t burn one piece of it! The weather was beautiful - what a wonderful way to celebrate the Valentines weekend with such good friends. Bev had some of the T-Shirts and other products available for sale, and the Sunsations temporary tattoos were available for members – just ask Rowan or Lidia if you would like a few.
January 2003 - New Years Eve was spent with M & S at their “traditional” super duper New Year’s Eve gift exchange party – Great food – as it always is when M and S are cooking up Roast Prime Rib or BBQ Ribs – it just doesn’t get any better than that! (M mentioned he would be cooking BBQ Ribs in May for everyone – so watch your event calendar!!

In December 2002 , our newest members, Scott and Tabatha hosted a Christmas party at the home of Scott’s parents – it was a real production – “Live from Las Vegas – Elvis Presley”. A nationally recognized Elvis impersonator, (a friend of our hosts), entertained for several hours singing all the favorites. Elvis presented Teddy Bears and scarves to his fans – he was a great addition to the party and it was his first time performing before a Nude audience – what a pro – he never missed a beat!
Thanksgiving 2002 was a special event at the home of Bill and Lidia – members enjoyed fried turkey prepared by Dave and traditional roast turkey with all the fixins’ – it was evident to all of us just how much we each have to be thankful for – and celebrating a Nude Thanksgiving was one of them. Sunsations was fortunate to have several prospective members attend the celebration and all five are now members – welcome to each of you (D & T from the Beach, Scott and Tabatha T. and John).
In October 2002, a masquerade party was held at a private home in South Ft Myers – even though the hostess was still on crutches, she made everyone feel welcome and K & S had done a great job decorating their home for the occasion. Costumes were creative as ever – (it’s amazing the way Nudists enjoy dressing up in costumes!), the surprise guest was Ozzie Osbourne and his wife Sharon – J & R did a great job portraying those characters. In addition, several members of Sunsations went to Key West to enjoy Fantasy Fest– it was great fun for all.
