On May 14th, 2005...
Members voted to sponsor a child for the FANR youth camp to be held at Cypress Cove beginning the weekend of June 25th and running through 4th of July weekend. As most of you know Judy Grisham runs the entire program for the camp and she still needs help with set up and tear down. If you can make it to Cypress Cove on either of the above mentioned weekends or if you can even stay for the week and help out, please contact Judy ASAP. Rowan has volunteered to host a seminar for the Nude U college age campers covering hosting and arranging activities for a travel club. Then she will register the younger kids for camp. Lidia and Bill have volunteered to come up and help with tear down on 4th of July weekend. Call Judy if you can help 482-5702.
Next, after some discussion the club voted to raise the annual club dues by $10.00 per person for the year. That means if you are a single the new rate is $61.00. If you are a couple the new rate is $114.50. The vote was to make this effective immediately, so for those of you who have procrastinated about getting your membership renewed, please make note of the new amount and send it to:

As all of you know we will be traveling to the FANR Convention at Caliente on June 17th to 20th. So far the head count is approximately 20 fun-loving Sunsational folks. Don't dilly dally about making your reservations, space is limited and it is going to be way way fun!
In regard to the AANR Convention in August, there is an award up for grabs that we may be able to win. It is the most miles logged for a travel club. All you need to do is calculate how far you think you have traveled from June of 2004 to June of 2005 to any AANR club function and email that total to Lidia at drayrow@comcast.net. Lidia will gather up all of the info and submit our entry so that we can once again be an award winning club! (Miles to Edun Lake count too!)
OK, I think that is enough news to bombard you with for now.
More fun updates, reminders and party news coming your way soon!
Til then, stay Sunsational!

Dear Row,
Sounds like you folks are having great fun! Barbara is at Olive Dell Ranch in California. I join her next week. At the end of the month we will take a 7 day cruise to Alaska where we will spend a few days with my brother in Anchorage.
It is getting cooler here now and we are using the fireplace at night. The Restaurant is closed for the winter and we are all partying regularly at the hot tub and dance floor in the Albergue (shelter).
Give our best to all...
Abraços,
Fritz & Barbara

Reservations for Summerfest Splash 04
Good day FANR. It is imperative that FANR officials register with Paradise Lakes ASAP. In order for you to register for rooms you must call the registration desk at Paradise and use 1.866.794.6683 (1.866.swimnude) telephone #.
The reservation desk has a list of FANR officials so please tell the Paradise reservation desk who you are.
For those persons requesting Friday and Saturday night reservations, the dates are June 18 and June 19, 2004.
Persons who are arriving early to partake in the youth activity program on Thursday and Thursday evening will request rooms for June, 17, 18 and 19, 2004.
RV people will make their reservations though the same desk, however, Rv slots are at a premium and these reservations must be acted upon immediately.
For those people with RV’s who want to move over to Paradise from the Como youth camp you must act accordingly; make your reservations quickly.
According to the latest info on the grape vine, this convention will be very BIG, I mean super BIG. However, we need not let down on the “get out the word on SUMMERFEST SPLASH 04”. As I mentioned previously, we can take on some more V-Ball teams or V-Ballers. Don’t worry, we will find a team for you; ringers are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of all sports events and for those who might not be a winner, try free beer, soda and free drinking water along with enchanting camaraderie. Also, the ART SHOW winners will be awarded great monetary prizes at the awards ceremony on Saturday evening.
To the liaison people, please pass this information on to the clubs under your jurisdiction.
As ever----------Joe Briggs, Convention & Meetings Chair of FANR

Judy,
Just wondering if you have talked to anyone in California recently. Wondering how they are doing. If they still need clothing and stuff like that. Please let me know asap.
Thanks, Ro
Ro,
I spoke with Ruth at Swallows. They are overwhelmed with the outpouring from AANR members/clubs/regions that they DO NOT need anything else. She says to save our postage. Ours was the first to arrive 6 weeks ago and everyone was in tears at our generosity. She apologized for not sending out thank yous yet as they have been busy cleaning up, etc. Everyone has a place to live, even temporarily and enough things. The insurance is starting to kick in. She says the Swallows members send their heartfelt thanks and love to Sunsations for all we did for them. There is a raffle going on for Swallows rebuilding in this months Bulletin with the prize a cabin on the next Nude Cruise.
Thanks.
Judy

Notes from Rowan ( it's important - you need to read this stuff! )
Thank you to those who have gotten back with me regarding the roster. It is coming together. We'll give it one more week and then we are going to press :) - So if you haven't yet dropped a line as to your preference to be included, please do so ASAP. Thanks mucho.

Dear Rowan and Wayne,
Four Items:
First: We just reviewed the Sunsations new web page. It looks great! Keep up the good work!
Second: Thank you for the informative E-mails. We don't know of any club that has as complete and comprehensive communications as the Sunsations!
Third: Because we are at Colina do Sol in South America, far south of the Equator on Brazil's border with Uruguay and Argentina the Sunsations' events are a bit difficult for us to attend. Nonetheless, all the news we read of the events allows the feeling that we were present.
Fourth: We, along with our Brazilian, American, Canadian, British, Argentinean, French, and German friends living at the Colina do Sol Naturist community look forward to the day that the Sunsations visit, party with us, and become friends.
At the moment we would not have room for everyone. But, this is about to change. In November the OCARA Hotel opens, and we have 100 nights promised to us at half price, US $50.00 per night. The Ocara Beach Side Restaurant, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, will throw in breakfast and lunch, free for Sunsations members.
What do you say? This winter in Florida will be summer at Colina. Carnaval is the last week in February. How about Sunsations' North American members fly south, discover South Americas only Naturist community, and party with friends and South American members of your club!
Any thoughts, let us know.
Muitos Abraços!
FRITZ {:-)

From Rowan and Wayne (Mid July):
Hey Everyone!
We're back!
Whew!
It was a great sixteen days of gettaway fun (4300 miles on the bike!) Though it was quite wet and a bit chilly most of the time we did manage to have some fun. Go figure! :) If anyone would like any pointers on how to ride a motorcycle in the rain we will be happy to enlighten you :)
P.S. What a great surprise to run into D and B in Sterling NY at the Renaissace Festival!

The Sunsations towels are available now and boy are they great! Wayne and Rowan took them on the road for their vacation and what a great conversation pieces they turned out to be. In their travels from Florida to New York, they touted Sunsations all over the east coast and were so well received everywhere they went.

If you have given Rowan money for a membership or a renewal, she probably has your membership cards. So please remember to get them from her on the 16th.
If you can't make it to Edun Lake and would prefer to have your cards mailed to you. please email her (DrayRow@comcast.net) and she will be happy to do so. (Please include your current snail mail address in the email)
